Yin Yoga & Essential Oils

Similar to incense, essential oils have a purifying and healing effect on our body and mind. However, unlike incense, essential oils can be used in different ways. Depending on the treatment sought, oils can be diffused, inhaled, applied topically or even ingested.
We begin the workshop with a short introduction about the benefits of using essential oils and the characteristics of a range of carefully selected oils. Then, we enjoy a 90-minute Yin Yoga session during which we will be surrounded by some amazing fragrances.
You learn about the qualities of each oil and the poses that are chosen to suit the oils. The beauty of Yin yoga is that you really have time to let it all sink in, breathe deeply and feel the effects of the oils in combination with the poses.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, even if you have never done yoga before. Beginners are given an insight into the world of yoga and get a taste for essential oils. For more advanced practitioners, it is an opportunity to deepen their knowledge and Yin practice.
Yin yoga is a beautiful, meditative style of practice that helps you find balance, space and focus.
Afterwards, l will serve herbal tea or your choice of essential oil to taste and a healthy home-made treat. You are welcome to hang around for a chat.
