Summer. Hot and sweaty. Some like it warm, others prefer it cool. Regardless of preferences, anyone will benefit from a cooling Yin Yoga session combined with refreshing Pranayama exercises during the hot summer months.
Yin Yoga is known for its cooling properties, as we slow right down during the practice, release tension from the joints and the connective tissues and take the time to breathe, lowering heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature.
When adding soothing Pranayama (breathing exercises) to the mix, we can cool down even more while we decrease stress levels, fully oxygenated our cells and detoxify.
The combination of the meditative practice of Yin Yoga and deeply restoring Pranayama techniques will help you overcome the discomfort of a hot summer or help you cool your skin after a few beach sessions too many.
After this workshop, you will feel refreshed, cool, energised and balanced.
There will be herbal tea and healthy sugar-free/gluten free home-made snacks and time for a chat after the practice.
